3M (Threee M Creative Labs Pvt. Ltd.) is a creative and digital strategy studio built for the digital age of message communication. We help governments and large organisations turn policy, programmes and institutional work into clear narratives and social-first content that actually travels, and reaches real people where they already are.
We work at the meeting point of two things that rarely sit together well: the seriousness and rigour of government, and genuine fluency in how the internet communicates today. That is the space we own. We are now building a communications function inside a Maharashtra State Government department, and we are looking for a junior or fresher Communications Strategist to own and grow into it.
The role A high-ownership role built for a junior or fresher. You will own a government department's public voice, embedded on-site at Mantralaya, working directly with senior officials and backed by the full weight of our content studio. You decide what the institution says, how it says it, and where it lands. You are the bridge between how government actually works and how communication works today.
What you will do
- Own the communications strategy and narrative for a government department, end to end.
- Own the work and its execution completely, from planning to production to what actually gets published.
- Turn meetings, official visits, scheme launches, policies and programme milestones into social-first content and clear public narratives.
- Plan and run the content calendar across the department's official channels.
- Work alongside senior government officials with the seriousness, decorum and sensitivity the setting demands.
- Stay ahead of the curve on formats,
cultural moments and how messages travel on social, and bring that instinct into a government context.
- Direct our designers, editors and writers to produce and ship finished, publish-ready work, and report on reach and outcomes every month.
Who you are
- A junior communicator or fresher, keen to build a career in content, social media and communications.
- Well spoken and confident, comfortable around senior people, and able to shape a message that lands with a twenty-two year old.
- Willing to learn how government and large institutions work: the protocol, the seriousness, the sensitivity, the way approvals and hierarchy move.
- Sharp on narrative, with a real instinct for the story inside the work and how a message travels on social.
- Hands-on with content and social media, with your own work to show, from college, internships or personal projects.
- Ahead of the curve. You know where digital communication is going, not only where it has been.
Good to have
- Experience working with government, the public sector or large institutions.
- Fluency in Marathi and Hindi, alongside English.
- A portfolio of content, campaigns or social work you can walk us through.
Why this role
• Genuine ownership, and a direct line to decision-makers in government. • The chance to build a communications function from the ground up, and set the standard for how a public institution shows up online.
- A full content studio behind you, and a seat at a team defining how governments and organisations communicate in the digital age.
