About the Role

Miniso Life Style Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and analytical Commodity Buyer to join our Buying Team in Gurugram. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of retail buying cycles, excellent analytical skills, and experience managing products/categories within defined timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and execute retail buying cycles, particularly within organized lifestyle/modern retail.

Handle Skin Care, Scented Products & Color Cosmetics categories.

Conduct product and market analysis to identify new trends, opportunities, and fast-moving products.

Track sales performance and identify quick-moving and non-performing SKUs.

Plan and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely availability and delivery.

Coordinate with suppliers for product, MOQ, pricing, quality, and timely deliveries.

Support SKU sorting, assortment planning, and category management.

Maintain and analyze sales and product performance data using MS Excel.

Conduct regular market and competitor visits to identify new products, trends, and market opportunities.

Work closely with internal teams and suppliers to ensure smooth product execution.

Requirements

3–5 years of relevant experience in Buying, Merchandising, Category Management, or a similar role.





1–2+ years of experience in Buying/Sourcing, preferably in retail or lifestyle brands.

Experience in Skin Care, Scented Products, or Color Cosmetics is preferred.

Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Good understanding of modern retail buying and product lifecycle management.

Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within strict timelines.

Fluent English communication skills — speaking, listening, and writing are mandatory.

Strong coordination and vendor management skills.
