Commercial Underwriting - 4+ Years - Mumbai

We are looking for a Commercial Underwriting professional with 4+ years of experience in General Insurance and strong hands-on experience in underwriting large corporate accounts. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of commercial underwriting and risk assessment. Responsibilities:

1. Assess and underwrite commercial insurance risks for large corporate clients in line with underwriting guidelines and business requirements.
2. Analyze financial statements, risk profiles, and relevant documents to evaluate exposure and determine appropriate terms and premiums.
3. Prepare underwriting assessments and recommendations for commercial accounts.
4. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and underwriting standards.
5. Work closely with brokers, agents, and internal stakeholders to understand requirements, negotiate terms, and drive business growth.
6. Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities and strengthen underwriting practices.

Requirements:

1. Any graduate with 4+ years of relevant experience in Commercial Underwriting can apply.
2. Candidates must have end-to-end Commercial Underwriting experience within the General Insurance industry.
3. Experience in handling underwriting for large corporate clients is mandatory.
4.



Candidates should be currently based in Mumbai and comfortable working from the office (WFO).
5. Strong understanding of commercial underwriting practices, risk assessment, and decision-making is preferred.
