Senior School Commerce & Mathematics Teacher

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and capable Commerce & Mathematics Teacher to join our academic team.

The candidate should be able to independently handle 11th & 12th Standard subjects:

- Business Mathematics
- Accountancy
- Commerce
- Economics

The candidate should also be confident in teaching Mathematics for Grades 5–10 across school curricula.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Business Mathematics, Accountancy, Commerce and Economics for Grades 11 & 12.
- Teach Mathematics for Grades 5–10.
- Plan and deliver engaging, concept-focused lessons.
- Explain concepts clearly using practical examples and appropriate teaching methods.
- Prepare students for school examinations and board examinations.
- Conduct regular assessments, revision sessions and doubt-clearing classes.
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Adapt teaching strategies according to individual student learning levels.
- Maintain a positive,



disciplined and encouraging classroom environment.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Mathematics, Economics, Accountancy or a relevant field.
- Strong subject knowledge in 11th & 12th Commerce subjects.
- Ability to teach Mathematics from Grades 5–10 confidently.
- Good communication and classroom-management skills.
- Prior teaching/tutoring experience is preferred.
- Candidates who can handle multiple school boards will be preferred.
- Passion for teaching and the ability to simplify difficult concepts are essential.
