Role Description This is a contract, on-site Collections Specialist role based in New Delhi.

The Collections

Specialist will contact customers regarding outstanding payments, negotiate repayment arrangements, and ensure timely cash collection in line with company policies. The role includes maintaining accurate records of calls and payment commitments, updating account information, and preparing basic reports on collection status.

Specialist will handle customer inquiries, provide explicit information on account balances and payment options,



and escalate complex cases to senior team members when necessary. The position requires consistent on-site attendance, adherence to compliance and privacy standards, and collaboration with the finance and customer service teams.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Debt Collection and Cash Collection, with the ability to meet defined recovery targets.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to interact professionally with customers and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service capabilities, including patience, problem-solving, and a customer-centric approach.
- Candidates should possess basic Finance understanding to interpret account statements, payment terms, and billing information.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in collections or call center environments, familiarity with CRM or collection software, proficiency in MS Excel, and the ability to work in a structured, target-driven setting.
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required; further education in business, finance, or a related field is an advantage.
