Role Description This is a full time, on-site Collections Manager role based in Mumbai.

The Collections

Manager will oversee the end-to-end collections process, including monitoring outstanding accounts, setting collection targets, and ensuring timely recovery of dues from individual and commercial clients.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing collection policies, analyzing aging reports, prioritizing accounts, and coordinating with operations, sales, and finance to resolve billing or service issues that impact payments. The role involves leading and coaching collection team members, handling escalated cases professionally, negotiating payment arrangements,



and maintaining accurate documentation and reporting.

The Collections

Manager will also contribute to process improvement, compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and safeguarding the company’s cash flow and client relationships.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in collections management, accounts receivable oversight, and debt recovery practices.
- Candidates should possess skills in negotiation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder communication for handling client interactions and payment discussions.
- Candidates should possess skills in data analysis, reporting, and use of spreadsheets or collection software to track performance and aging of accounts.
- Candidates should possess skills in process improvement, policy implementation, and compliance with financial and legal guidelines.
- Relevant skills such as team leadership, performance management, and coaching of collection staff are beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in collections, credit control, or financial operations, ideally in service-oriented or B2B environments, is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work on-site in Mumbai with a focus on ethical and non-discriminatory practices are required.
