Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Coffee Barista to join our café team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and beverages, maintaining consistency in taste and presentation, operating coffee equipment, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve espresso-based beverages including espresso, cappuccino, latte, americano, mocha, flat white, and cold coffee.

- Operate and maintain espresso machines, coffee grinders, and other café equipment.

- Grind coffee beans and adjust grinder settings to achieve the desired extraction.

- Prepare hot and cold beverages according to standardized recipes.

- Maintain consistency in coffee taste, temperature, quality, and presentation.

- Perform basic latte art and maintain professional beverage presentation.

- Prepare mise en place and ensure all ingredients are available before service.

- Take customer orders accurately and operate POS/billing systems when required.

- Understand customer preferences and recommend suitable beverages.

- Handle customer questions, feedback, and complaints professionally.

- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee bar, equipment, counters, and workstations.

- Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, powders, cups, and other supplies.

- Inform the supervisor about inventory requirements and shortages.

- Minimize product wastage through proper preparation and portion control.

- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.





- Assist with opening and closing café procedures.

- Support the café team during busy hours and special events.

- Assist in developing new coffee and beverage offerings when required.

- Stay updated with coffee trends, brewing methods, and beverage preparation techniques.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and espresso-based beverages.

- Good understanding of espresso extraction and grinder settings.

- Knowledge of different coffee beans and brewing methods.

- Latte art skills are an advantage.

- Excellent customer-service and communication skills.

- Good attention to detail and presentation.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café workplace.

- Strong teamwork and coordination skills.

- Basic POS and billing knowledge.

- Good hygiene and food-safety practices.

- Passion for coffee and willingness to learn.

Qualification

- 12th pass / Graduate preferred.

- Barista certification or professional coffee training is an advantage.

Experience

- 2–4 years of experience as a Barista, preferably in a café, specialty coffee shop, hotel, restaurant, or similar establishment.

- Candidates with strong practical knowledge of coffee preparation may be considered based on skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
