Role Description This full time, on-site Collection Executive role is based in Jalandhar.

The Collection

Executive will be responsible for following up with customers on overdue payments, maintaining collection targets, and ensuring timely recovery of dues while adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines. Daily activities include making outbound calls, conducting field visits when required, negotiating repayment plans, and documenting all interactions and agreements accurately in internal systems. The role also involves coordinating with branch staff and the credit team to resolve customer queries, analyzing overdue accounts for risks, and escalating complex cases as needed.

Executive is expected to maintain professional communication, uphold ethical collection practices, and contribute to portfolio quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Debt Collection and Credit Control to manage overdue accounts effectively and ensure compliant recovery processes.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and a foundational understanding of Finance to interpret customer repayment behavior, assess risk, and support decision-making.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to engage with customers respectfully, negotiate repayment solutions, and collaborate with internal teams.
- Candidates should possess basic computer literacy and proficiency in using MS Office and collection or CRM systems for documentation and reporting.
- Candidates should possess a minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Candidates should possess prior experience in collections, lending, banking, or NBFC operations; experience in retail or rural finance will be an added advantage.
- Candidates should possess strong ethical standards, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a target-driven environment while maintaining compliance with regulatory norms.
