Co-Founder — Product, Operations & Deployment

TejTatv is looking for a Co-Founder — Product, Operations & Deployment with robust, hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, plant operations, and equipment deployment.

This is an entrepreneurial technical leadership role for someone who can convert real industrial problems into products, deploy them in plants, and build repeatable operating processes.

The candidate must have practical maintenance experience in one or more of:

Mining • Mineral Processing • Metals • Steel • Cement • Recycling • Bulk Material Handling • Critical Minerals • Heavy Process Industries

Mandatory Equipment Experience

Strong hands-on experience with:

- Conveyors and material-handling systems
- Crushers
- Screens
- Feeders
- Processing equipment
- Industrial electrical systems
- Instrumentation and control systems
- PLC / SCADA
- Motors, drives and rotating equipment

The candidate should understand preventive and predictive maintenance, breakdowns, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, equipment reliability, shutdowns, spares, safety and plant availability. Role The Co-Founder will own the bridge between:





Industrial Problem → Product → Pilot → Deployment → Operations → Scale

Product

- Identify high-value industrial problems and convert them into product requirements.
- Define product specifications, deployment requirements and performance benchmarks.
- Work with AI/ML, sensors, automation, software and engineering teams.
- Drive products from problem identification → prototype → pilot → industrial product.

Operations & Maintenance
- Apply practical maintenance and plant-operations knowledge to product design.
- Identify opportunities in reliability, condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, process optimisation and material-flow intelligence.
- Improve uptime, reliability, maintenance efficiency and operational performance.

Deployment
- Lead plant surveys, installation, commissioning, pilot execution and customer deployment.
- Work with maintenance, production, electrical, instrumentation, automation, OEM and EPC teams.
- Ensure solutions work with existing infrastructure, legacy equipment and PLC/SCADA systems.
- Build repeatable processes for installation, service, maintenance and field support.

Customer & Commercialisation
- Translate plant requirements into commercially valuable solutions.
- Support customer discussions, technical assessments, pilot planning and ROI definition.
- Ensure solutions are practical, maintainable and worth paying for.

Leadership
- Build and lead the Product, Operations and Deployment organisation.
- Recruit and mentor product, industrial, maintenance, deployment and field-engineering talent.
- Establish execution, documentation and operational standards.

Ideal CandidateExperience — Mandatory Significant professional experience in industrial maintenance, plant engineering, reliability or operations, preferably in:

Mining • Mineral Processing • Metals • Steel • Cement • Recycling • Bulk Material Handling • Critical Minerals

Pure software, consulting, sales, academic or generic product-management experience without substantial industrial maintenance experience is not sufficient.

Education

B.Tech / B.E. — required

M.Tech / M.E. / Master's — strongly preferred

Relevant disciplines include

Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mining, Mineral Processing, Metallurgy, Chemical, Mechatronics,



Industrial Engineering, Automation or Control Systems.

Ph.D. is not required.

We are looking for a technology-oriented industrial operator and product builder, not simply a maintenance manager or product manager.

The candidate should be capable of answering:

What problem should we solve?

How should the product work in a real plant?

Can it be deployed without disrupting production?

Can maintenance teams operate and maintain it?

How do we validate it?

How do we make deployment repeatable?

How do we scale the solution across multiple plants?

Co-Founder Commitment & Investment

This is a genuine Co-Founder — Product, Operations & Deployment role.

The selected candidate should be:

- Willing to accept meaningful founder-level equity, subject to mutual agreement.
- Willing to participate in an equity + ESOP structure, as mutually agreed.
- Willing and financially capable of contributing ₹1–2 Crore of capital to the company.
- Prepared to lead product, operations, deployment, customer pilots and scale-up.
- Prepared to build the Product, Operations and Deployment organisation.
- Comfortable with the risks and responsibilities of an early-stage deep-tech company.

Important The ₹1–2 Crore contribution is not a fee for obtaining the Co-Founder position. It would be treated as a potential capital investment into the company, with the investment structure, valuation, equity allocation, governance rights, investor rights, use of funds and other terms mutually agreed and formally documented, subject to due diligence.

The investment requirement is intended to identify a co-founder willing to demonstrate long-term financial and strategic commitment to building TejTatv's industrial deep-tech platform.
