NRC Group of Industries is looking for a skilled and responsible CNC Press Brake Operator to operate CNC press brake machines for sheet metal fabrication. The candidate will be responsible for machine setup, bending operations, dimensional accuracy, quality of components, and safe machine operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC Press Brake machines for sheet metal bending and fabrication work.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, bending drawings, and work instructions.
- Set up the machine, select suitable tools, and adjust machine parameters as required.
- Perform accurate bending operations according to drawing specifications.
- Check component dimensions and bending angles using measuring instruments.
- Ensure proper material positioning and safe handling during bending operations.
- Inspect finished components for dimensional accuracy and quality.
- Coordinate with the Production and Quality teams to resolve production and quality issues.
- Maintain proper production output as per the daily production plan.
- Follow machine operating procedures, safety guidelines, and company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the machine and work area.
- Report machine abnormalities, tool issues, and maintenance requirements to the supervisor.
- Minimize material wastage and ensure efficient machine utilization.
- Follow 5S and workplace safety practices.
Requirements
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience as a CNC Press Brake Operator in sheet metal fabrication or a similar manufacturing industry.
- Experience in operating CNC Press Brake machines.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of press brake setup, tooling, bending sequence, and machine parameters.
- Basic knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, measuring tape, and angle measurement tools.
- Good understanding of sheet metal bending operations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing/production environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CNC Press Brake machines used in sheet metal fabrication.
- Knowledge of different sheet metal materials and thicknesses.
- Ability to identify and correct basic bending-related issues.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Positive discipline and adherence to safety procedures.
