Role purpose objective

- Expert knowledge of assessing credit risk for Home Loan by applying Deposit of Title Documents and Registration of Mortgage guidelines.

- Conduct income appraisal of salaried and self-employed borrowers. In-depth understanding and analysis of P L Account and Balance Sheet including cash flows of self-employed borrowers.

- Assess income to obligation ratios, loan to value ratios, in-depth knowledge of rational behind calculation of ratios and its impact on loan performance over long tenures.

- Provide Market intelligence from a competition and customer stand point

- Recommendations on current processes fraud Control initiative etc

- Manage Credit Officers' team

Size of the role

Financial size

- Manage entire Area underwriting teams

- Handling portfolio from 50 Cr to 200 Cr

- Supervising the monthly disbursement of 60-150 files from the assigned area

Non-financial size

- Efficient TAT management by credit team

- Ensure to strengthen area credit team to include more responsibilities
- To manage direct and indirect team of close to 4-10 people.

- Involve in process reengineering, Audits, Policy change discussions etc.

Key duties responsibilities of the role

Business





- Ensure credit policy and process adherence in the Cluster.

- Coordinate with Legal Technical Agencies.

- Guide/Monitor Credit Officers of the cluster.

- Ensure timely training to branches in the cluster.

- Suggest policy revisions in line with changing market conditions.

Customer

- Expert knowledge of customer segments in various markets of India and their performance histories.

- Expert knowledge of negative profiles, negative property types and negative property locations.

- Complete understanding of various collateral types of all regions and cities in India and their title documentation requirements for creation of equitable mortgage.

- Knowledge of property valuation process through vendors and knowledge and keen interest in monitoring current property prices.

- Meet appropriate customers for understanding of their needs.

- Conduct underwriting for cases under purview.

- Pickup EWS for the set of clients in his area.

- Maintain portfolio quality of the Cluster as per company norms.

- Monitoring and tracking of HL Loan cases.

- Maintain various standard MIS for HL Loan.

- Ensure various reports are being sent to stakeholders on monthly basis at regular frequencies.
