Role Description The Cloud Specialist role at BETA is a full-time, in office position based in Tiruvallur. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure to support BETA’s proprietary software products and internal systems.

The Cloud

Specialist will manage deployments, monitor performance, optimize resource usage, and ensure high availability, reliability, and security of cloud environments. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with development teams on integrations, troubleshooting issues across infrastructure and applications, and supporting continuous improvement of deployment pipelines and cloud operations.



The role also includes documenting configurations and processes, contributing to best practices, and working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to align cloud solutions with business needs.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Infrastructure and Cloud Computing skills, including experience with cloud platforms, networking concepts, scalability, and security controls.
- Candidates should possess Software Development and Integration skills, such as scripting or programming, CI/CD pipelines, and integrating applications and services within cloud environments.
- Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills, including diagnosing performance issues, resolving deployment failures, and supporting incident response across cloud and application layers.
- Relevant skills such as familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation), and monitoring/logging solutions are beneficial.
- Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with experience in cloud operations or a similar role.
- Strong communication skills, the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and a proactive approach to learning new technologies and best practices are expected.
