Cloud Engineer - (Job Location - Hyderabad)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer with 6+ years of experience to design, implement, support, and improve cloud infrastructure across contemporary environments. You will work closely with engineering, security, and operations teams to build scalable solutions, strengthen reliability, and automate day-to-day cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and support scalable cloud infrastructure solutions that meet business and technical requirements.

- Manage cloud-based applications and infrastructure with a focus on availability, performance, security, and cost effectiveness.

- Build and maintain automation for deployment, configuration, and routine operational tasks.

- Monitor cloud environments, investigate issues, and support troubleshooting to restore services quickly.

- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and efficient cloud services aligned with company policies and standards.

- Evaluate cloud technologies and recommend improvements that enhance reliability, operational efficiency, and maintainability.

- Document solutions, changes, and operational practices clearly for ongoing support and knowledge sharing.

- Support continuous improvement efforts across cloud operations, tooling, and engineering practices.

- Use automation and scripting to reduce manual effort and improve consistency across cloud operations.

- Collaborate across development, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver solutions as one team.

- Use monitoring and troubleshooting practices to identify issues early and maintain high service quality.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 6+ years of experience in cloud engineering, cloud infrastructure, or a closely related technical role.

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Strong proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages.

- Experience supporting scalable cloud-based applications and infrastructure.

- Working knowledge of cloud security, compliance, and access control practices.

- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.

- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional technical teams.

Nice to Have

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

- Experience with observability or monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Datadog, AWS CloudWatch, or Azure Monitor.

- Technical leadership or mentoring experience.

- Experience with DevSecOps practices and secure delivery workflows.
