We are looking for an experienced Cloud Architect with strong expertise in designing and implementing Azure-first cloud architectures, including cloud adoption, landing zones, networking, security, infrastructure as code, DevSecOps, migration, high availability, disaster recovery, observability and cost optimisation.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience architecting secure, scalable and resilient Azure environments and should be familiar with enterprise cloud governance, security and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Design Azure-first cloud architectures aligned with the Azure Cloud Adoption Framework and enterprise Landing Zones.
- Design secure Azure networking solutions including VNets, ExpressRoute and Private Endpoints.
- Design identity and access solutions using Microsoft Entra ID.
- Architect solutions using AKS, App Service, Azure Functions and API Management.
- Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or Bicep.
- Design and implement DevSecOps pipelines and secure cloud delivery practices.
- Define security and compliance architecture, including encryption and key management.
- Ensure awareness and alignment with UAE Central Bank requirements and data-residency obligations.
- Design migration strategies and patterns for on-premises and Oracle workloads.
- Design High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR) and business continuity solutions and ensure they are tested.
- Implement observability and operations solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Sentinel.
- Drive FinOps and cloud cost optimisation initiatives.
- Conduct Azure Well-Architected Framework reviews and recommend architecture improvements.
- Provide technical guidance on cloud architecture, security, scalability, resilience and operational readiness.

Candidate Requirements

- Strong hands-on experience in Azure cloud architecture and enterprise cloud environments.

- Experience with Entra ID, AKS, App Service, Functions and API Management.




- Hands-on experience with Terraform and/or Bicep and DevSecOps pipelines.
- Solid understanding of cloud security, compliance, encryption and key management.
- Awareness of UAE Central Bank and data-residency obligations.
- Experience designing migration strategies for on-premises and Oracle workloads.
- Strong experience with HA/DR and tested business continuity.
- Experience with Azure observability and security tools including Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Defender for Cloud and Sentinel.
- Experience with FinOps, cloud cost optimisation and Azure Well-Architected reviews.
- AZ-305 Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification is required as a baseline.
- Strong problem-solving, architecture and communication skills.
