The Enterprise Architect –

- Cloud &
- Infrastructure provides enterprise-wide architectural leadership for cloud, infrastructure, networking, and platform technologies by defining the technology strategy, target-state architecture, reference architectures, and technology standards that enable secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective platforms.

This role partners closely with Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Engineering, Security, and Solution Delivery teams to guide enterprise technology modernization, establish architecture principles, technology standards, and reference architectures, and enable engineering teams to design and deliver enterprise solutions aligned with business objectives.

The role provides strategic technical leadership across cloud, infrastructure, networking, platform engineering, and enterprise technology modernization. Acts as the enterprise technical leader for the Cloud &

- Infrastructure domain, influencing technology strategy, architecture decisions, and engineering direction while enabling modernization across the enterprise.

Enterprise Architecture &

- Strategy

- Develop and maintain an enterprise architecture roadmap aligned with business and IT strategies.
- Partner with business and technology leaders to align cloud and infrastructure strategy with enterprise business capabilities and long-term technology investments.
- Establish and enforce technology standards, architecture principles, and best practices for scalable, secure, and efficient IT operations.
- Define target-state architecture, reference architectures, and reusable architecture patterns across cloud, infrastructure, networking, and platform services.
- Develop multi-year cloud & infrastructure technology roadmaps supporting business growth, modernization, and annual capital planning.
- Partner with Enterprise Architecture peers to align Cloud &
- Infrastructure capabilities with application, data, integration, security, and business capability roadmaps.
- Partner with engineering teams throughout solution design and delivery to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles and technology standards.

Cloud &

- Infrastructure Architecture Leadership

- Define and evolve the enterprise cloud strategy with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Define enterprise architecture strategies for hybrid cloud, networking, compute, storage, platform engineering, and enterprise infrastructure.
- Establish cloud governance, architecture guardrails, reference architectures, and approved technology patterns supporting cloud-native and hybrid solutions.
- Serve as the enterprise domain expert for Cloud &
- Infrastructure, fostering collaboration across global architecture, engineering, security, and platform teams.
- Define enterprise architecture standards and reference architectures supporting high availability, disaster recovery, business continuity, and operational resilience.
- Partner with Infrastructure Engineering to establish scalability, resiliency, observability, and performance architecture patterns for enterprise platforms.




- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to architects and engineers within the India Global Capability Center, helping establish cloud and infrastructure architecture as a strategic competency across the enterprise.
- Define enterprise Infrastructure-as-Code architecture patterns, automation standards, and reusable reference implementations in partnership with platform engineering.
- Define enterprise non-functional architecture standards including availability, resiliency, scalability, recoverability, observability, and operational excellence. Performance &
- Reliability
- Define enterprise architecture patterns supporting resilient, highly available cloud and infrastructure platforms.
- Guide enterprise capacity planning strategies supporting business growth and technology roadmaps.
- Establish frameworks for monitoring, observability, and incident response using tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, or Prometheus.

Architecture Governance &

- Technology Leadership

- Lead Cloud &
- Infrastructure Design Reviews and participate in the Architecture Review Board (ARB).
- Review major technology initiatives, investment proposals, and solution architectures to ensure alignment with enterprise strategy, technology roadmaps, architecture principles, and approved technology standards.
- Publish and maintain enterprise reference architectures, technology standards, and architecture principles.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enterprise adoption strategies.
- Identify technology debt and modernization opportunities across infrastructure platforms.
- Guide architecture decisions supporting enterprise resiliency, security, observability, and operational excellence.
- Mentor solution architects, domain architects, and engineering teams through architecture reviews, design workshops, and technical coaching to strengthen enterprise architecture capabilities.
- Document and govern key architectural decisions through Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) to promote consistency, traceability, and enterprise-wide reuse.

DevOps, CI/CD &

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

- Define enterprise automation, container platform, service mesh, and orchestration reference architectures.
- Partner with Platform Engineering to evolve enterprise developer platforms, CI/CD capabilities, automation, and cloud engineering practices. Vendor &
- Stakeholder Management
- Provide technical leadership during strategic technology evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and major platform selection initiatives.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and strategic technology partners.
- Develop technology recommendations supporting enterprise architecture strategy.
- Partner with Procurement and Infrastructure leadership during technology evaluations.

Skills/Education/Experience

REQUIRED

- Proven ability to navigate complex enterprise architecture challenges, drive architectural decisions for $20M+ Infrastructure Portfolio decisions,



having a direct financial correlation to company results and performance. 15+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, cloud strategy, and IT transformation.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, or Engineering (equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree). Over six years of experience of leading architecture teams up to ten solution and domain architects, mentoring architects, and influencing enterprise-wide decisions.
- Cloud &
- Infrastructure Architecture: Recognized expert in defining enterprise cloud, infrastructure, networking, platform, resiliency, and operational architecture supporting business capabilities and long-term technology strategy.
- Enterprise Architecture &
- Technology Strategy: Recognized expert in defining enterprise technology strategy, target-state architecture, and architecture principles that enable business capabilities and technology modernization.
- Technology Roadmapping: Experience developing and maintaining multi-year technology roadmaps that align business strategy, architecture direction, and capital planning.
- Reference Architecture Development: Ability to create and maintain enterprise reference architectures, reusable architecture patterns, and technology standards.
- Architecture Governance: Experience leading architecture reviews, establishing governance processes, and guiding enterprise technology decisions.
- Technology Modernization: Proven ability to assess legacy technology, define modernization strategies, and drive enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Platform Engineering &
- DevOps: Experience defining enterprise platform engineering strategy, CI/CD architecture patterns, developer platforms, Infrastructure-as-Code standards, and cloud engineering best practices.
- Security &
- Risk Management: Implements enterprise security frameworks, risk assessment models, and regulatory compliance measures.
- Observability &
- Performance Tuning: Leverages observability tools to monitor, diagnose, and optimize system performance.
- Cost Optimization &
- FinOps: Develops strategies to optimize cloud infrastructure costs, ensuring efficient financial management.
