Role Overview:

We are seeking dedicated and patient-focused Clinical Assistants / Clinical Associates Critical Care Medicine to join our Critical Care team. The candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to critically ill patients in the ICU environment, assisting Critical Care Consultants, managing emergencies, and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes. The role requires strong clinical knowledge, the ability to handle critical situations, effective coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and adherence to estab:ished ICU protocols and patient safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive medical care and clinical support to critically ill ICU patients.

- Monitor, assess, and manage patients requiring intensive care support.
- Manage ventilated patients and assist in respiratory care management.
- Perform patient assessments and identify changes in clinical conditions.
- Assist Critical Care Consultants during ICU procedures and interventions.
- Perform bedside procedures as per clinical requirements and competency.
- Review and interpret laboratory investigations, imaging reports, and other diagnostic findings.
- Participate actively in ICU rounds, case discussions, and treatment planning.




- Ensure timely clinical documentation, patient records, and progress notes.
- Support emergency management and critical interventions in ICU.
- Coordinate effectively with nursing teams and other medical specialties.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, ICU protocols, infection control practices, and patient safety guidelines.
- Maintain professional standards and contribute to continuous improvement in patient care services.

Qualification Requirements:

Candidates with any of the following qualifications are eligible to apply: • MD / DNB Family Medicine • MD / DNB General Medicine • MD / DNB – Critical Care Medicine • MD / DNB – Respiratory Medicine • MD / DNB – Anaesthesia • IDCCM (Indian Diploma in Critical Care Medicine) • CTCCM (Certificate Course in Critical Care Medicine) • FCCM (Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine)

Experience in managing critically ill patients, ventilators, and emergency care will be an added advantage.

Competencies • Strong understanding of ICU Management and Critical Care Practices • Ability to provide Emergency Patient Care • Hands-on knowledge of Ventilator Management • Strong clinical assessment and critical decision-making abilities • Ability to interpret laboratory and radiological investigations • Good clinical documentation skills • Effective communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary ICU environment • Commitment to patient safety and quality healthcare delivery
