Role Summary:

The Field Claim Investigator is responsible for conducting on-site investigations of insurance claims to verify claim authenticity, gather evidence, interview relevant parties, and prepare detailed investigation reports to support fair and timely claim decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct field investigations for insurance claims.

- Visit hospitals, clinics, insured members, and other relevant locations to verify claim details.

- Collect and validate medical records, documents, and supporting evidence.

- Interview claimants, healthcare providers, employers, and witnesses as required.

- Prepare accurate and timely investigation reports with findings and recommendations.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and investigation standards.

- Coordinate with the claims team to resolve investigation-related queries.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- Educational Qualification:



BHMS, BAMS, BPT, B.Pharm, or B.Sc. (Forensic Science).

- Relevant experience in insurance claims investigation, medical investigation, or healthcare.

- Solid communication, logical thinking, reasoning, probing, analytical, and report-writing skills.

- Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 70 km per day).

- Must own a two-wheeler/four-wheeler with a valid driving license.

- Basic knowledge of MS Office and smartphone applications.

Key Requirements:

- Medical background is mandatory.

- Own vehicle is mandatory.

- Ability to work independently and meet investigation timelines.

- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
