Role Description The Chief Security Officer (CSO) is a full-time, in office leadership role based in Nagpur, responsible for establishing and overseeing holistic security strategies across XSIO’s industrial and logistics parks. The CSO will design and implement physical security frameworks for multi-site facilities, including access control, perimeter security, surveillance systems, and emergency response protocols.

This role will lead risk assessments, security audits, and compliance initiatives, ensuring alignment with ESG commitments, safety regulations, and operational requirements for high-profile occupiers. The CSO will manage relationships with local law enforcement, regulatory bodies, and third-party security providers, while mentoring and directing security teams across projects. On a day-to-day basis, the CSO will review incident reports, analyze security data, drive continuous improvement in policies and technologies, and collaborate with operations, legal, and sustainability teams to safeguard people, assets, data, and infrastructure.

Qualifications

10+ Years of Experience





- Proven experience in security leadership, preferably as CSO, Head of Security, or equivalent in industrial, logistics parks, infrastructure, or large campus environments.
- Strong background in physical security operations, including access control, CCTV and surveillance, perimeter protection, and emergency response planning.
- Demonstrated expertise in risk management, threat assessment, incident investigation, and business continuity planning.
- Knowledge of relevant safety, security, and regulatory standards in India, including compliance requirements for large industrial and logistics facilities.
- Experience designing and implementing security policies, SOPs, training programs, and performance metrics for multi-site operations.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, ESG/sustainability, legal, and technology teams to integrate security into overall business strategy.
