Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Happy Minds International is a full-time, in office role based in Mumbai. The CFO will oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial governance.

Daily responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, monitoring financial performance, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and developing strategies to support sustainable growth. The CFO will collaborate closely with the leadership team to align financial plans with organizational goals,



manage relationships with banks and auditors, and implement financial controls and reporting processes. This role also involves providing clear financial insights to stakeholders and contributing to long-term strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Finance and Financial Planning, with the ability to develop and execute long-term financial strategies.
- Expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including preparation, analysis, and presentation to leadership and stakeholders.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess financial risks, and support informed decision-making.
- Proven experience in financial leadership roles, ideally within education, services, or similar sectors.
- Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory compliance, taxation, and financial controls relevant to Indian markets.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Experience in building and mentoring finance teams, and implementing scalable financial systems and processes.
