- Conduct engaging and structured chess classes for children and beginners.
- Teach chess fundamentals, rules, strategies, tactics, openings, middlegame and endgame concepts according to the student's level.
- Assess students' playing levels and prepare suitable lesson plans.
- Help students improve their logical thinking, concentration, problem-solving and decision-making skills through chess.
- Conduct practice games, puzzles, challenges and regular assessments.
- Track students' progress and provide feedback to parents when required.
- Prepare interested students for chess competitions and tournaments.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined and encouraging learning environment.
- Coordinate with the KSA administration regarding class schedules, attendance and student progress.
Requirements
- Good knowledge and playing ability in chess.
- Previous experience teaching chess, especially to children, is preferred.
- Robust communication and classroom-management skills.
- Patient, friendly and enthusiastic approach towards children.
- Chess certification, tournament experience or coaching experience will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel to class locations is preferred.
