Process Engineer | Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / EPC

Experience: 5-10+ Years

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering / Petroleum Engineering

We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer to provide technical assurance and engineering oversight for process engineering deliverables across Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, and EPC projects. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in process design reviews, engineering calculations, equipment sizing, hydraulic analysis, and compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and approve process engineering deliverables in accordance with project objectives, Basis of Design (BoD), company standards, and applicable industry codes.
- Perform independent technical assurance and discipline reviews of:
- P&IDs;

- Process Datasheets

- Engineering Calculations

- Equipment Specifications

- Design Packages
- Validate engineering assumptions, process calculations, hydraulic studies, and equipment sizing methodologies.
- Ensure process design integrity, operability, safety, and compliance throughout project execution.
- Verify engineering deliverables meet quality, technical, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations to resolve complex process engineering challenges.
- Support multidisciplinary design reviews and coordinate with various engineering disciplines.

Candidate Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Energy, or EPC projects.
- Solid knowledge of process engineering principles, design standards, and industry codes.
- Experience reviewing and approving engineering deliverables and technical documentation.
- Expertise in process calculations, hydraulic studies, and equipment sizing.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Experience

- Technical Assurance and Design Verification activities.
- FEED, Detailed Engineering, Brownfield, and Greenfield projects.
- Exposure to international engineering standards and project execution methodologies.
