Role Description The Chemist role at Ambica is an on-site position based at the Hyderabad manufacturing unit. The Chemist will perform daily laboratory testing, sample preparation, and analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.

Responsibilities include supporting quality control processes, maintaining accurate test records, calibrating and operating laboratory instruments, and following safety and environmental guidelines. The Chemist will collaborate with production and quality teams to investigate deviations, optimize processes,



and support ongoing R&D; initiatives for product improvement. The role also involves preparing clear technical reports and contributing to continuous improvement in laboratory practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Laboratory Skills and Research capabilities to perform chemical analyses and experiments accurately.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control expertise and Analytical Skills to validate product quality and interpret test results effectively.
- Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D;) experience and Research skills to support process optimization and new product initiatives.
- Relevant academic background such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- Knowledge of inorganic chemicals, especially zinc-based products, and familiarity with industrial manufacturing environments.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures, maintain documentation, and adhere to safety and regulatory standards.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site in Hyderabad.
