Location: Nashik, Maharashtra, India

Reporting To: Board of Directors

Position Summary The organization is seeking an experienced and results-driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its manufacturing operations based in Nashik. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a strong engineering background, deep expertise in high-volume/mass production environments, and a proven track record of driving operational excellence, business growth, and organizational transformation. This role requires a leader who can balance shop-floor rigor with strategic business acumen someone equally comfortable walking the plant floor and sitting across the table with key OEM clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Mass Production & Manufacturing Excellence

- Drive high-volume, mass production operations with a focus on cost efficiency, quality, throughput, and delivery reliability.
- Implement and sustain lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement (Kaizen) practices across the plant.
- Ensure production processes are scalable, standardized, and aligned with industry best practices (TPM, TQM, 5S).
- Oversee capacity planning and capital investment decisions to support growth in production volumes.

2. Operations Management

- Own end-to-end operational performance, including manufacturing, supply chain, quality, maintenance, and logistics.
- Establish and monitor KPIs/OKRs across departments to ensure operational targets are consistently met or exceeded.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives without compromising product quality or safety standards.
- Ensure robust systems for production planning, inventory management, and vendor/supplier coordination.

3. Sales & Business Development





- Define and execute the organization's sales strategy to expand market share, both in domestic and export markets.
- Build and nurture relationships with OEMs, key accounts, and channel/distribution partners.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.
- Lead pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and key account management at the senior level.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform product and business strategy.

4. Plant Management

- Provide overall leadership for plant operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and statutory adherence (labor laws, environmental, and industry regulations).
- Manage plant P&L;, budgeting, and cost control with full accountability for operational profitability.
- Lead, mentor, and build high-performing plant leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Ensure effective workforce planning, industrial relations, and a strong safety culture on the shop floor.

5. Business Transformation

- Lead organization-wide transformation initiatives digitalization, automation, process re-engineering, and Industry 4.0 adoption.
- Drive change management programs to build a performance-oriented and agile organizational culture.
- Identify structural, technological, and process improvements to future-proof the business.
- Champion sustainability, ESG, and long-term competitiveness initiatives.

6. Strategic & Corporate Leadership





- Develop and execute the company's overall business strategy in alignment with Board/promoter objectives.
- Own the company's P&L; and deliver on annual budgets, growth targets, and profitability goals.
- Represent the company with key external stakeholders customers, vendors, regulatory bodies, and industry forums.
- Provide regular performance updates and strategic recommendations to the Board.

Candidate Requirements

Education

- BE / B.Tech (Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline) mandatory
- MBA or PGDM (preferred, not mandatory) in Operations, General Management, or Business Administration

Experience

- 15 to 20+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing/automotive/engineering industries
- Minimum 5 to 7 years in a CEO, Plant Head, or senior General Manager (Operations) role
- Demonstrated experience managing mass production/high-volume manufacturing operations
- Solid exposure to Sales & Business Development in a B2B/OEM-driven industry
- Proven track record of leading business transformation or turnaround initiatives

Location & Work Conditions

- Base Location: Nashik, Maharashtra
- Frequent travel may be required for customer visits, business development, and multi-site coordination (if applicable)
