1 A Chartered Accountant (CA) with Direct Tax experience is a finance professional who specializes in income tax and related direct tax laws, advising individuals, businesses, trusts, and multinational companies on tax compliance, planning, and litigation.

1. Corporate Direct Tax

- Corporate income tax computation
- Advance tax calculations
- TDS/TCS compliance
- Tax provisioning under Ind AS / IFRS
- Deferred tax accounting
- Tax audits and assessments

2. Individual Taxation

- Salary taxation
- Expatriate taxation
- Capital gains computation
- Tax planning for High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs)
- Filing income tax returns

3. Tax Planning

- Structuring transactions tax-efficiently
- Mergers, acquisitions, and business restructuring
- Dividend and distribution tax planning
- International tax planning
- MAT and AMT implications

4. Litigation & Representation

- Responding to Income Tax notices
- Handling assessments and reassessments
- Appeals before CIT(A), ITAT,



High Courts, and the Supreme Court
- Representation during tax searches and surveys

5. Transfer Pricing (for Multinational Companies)

- Documentation
- Benchmarking studies
- Compliance
- APA support

6. International Taxation

- Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements (DTAA)
- Withholding tax
- Permanent Establishment (PE) issues
- BEPS compliance
- OECD guidelines

SKILLS REQUIRED BY THE JOB HOLDER

Solid knowledge of:

- Income-tax Act, 1961
- Finance Acts
- CBDT Circulars
- Tax Treaties (DTAA)

Proficiency in:

- Microsoft Excel
- Income Tax Portal
- Tax compliance software
- SAP/Oracle (for corporate roles)

Senior Manager / AVP Finance & Accounts

Location: Bangalore (with travel to estates)

Experience: 10- 15 years

CA / CPA preferred
