Role Overview:

We are seeking a Chartered Accountant with solid Reporting and Compliance experience to join our Finance team. This role will be instrumental in establishing robust financial controls, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting the organization's growth objectives. You'll work in a high-growth deep-tech environment where precision, compliance, and process excellence are essential to our success.

Key Responsibilities:

Internal Controls & Compliance:

- Design, implement, and monitor Internal Financial Controls (IFC) framework aligned with statutory requirements and investor expectations.
- Conduct risk-based internal audits across functions including Procurement (P2P), Revenue Recognition (O2C), Fixed Assets, Treasury, and Inventory Management.
- Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory regulations specific to aerospace manufacturing and R&D; operations.

Financial Operations & Process Improvement:

- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations including GL management, month end/year-end closures, and financial reporting under Indian GAAP.
- Identify control gaps and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for R&D;, manufacturing, and operational expenses.

Audit & Stakeholder Management:

- Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities for audits and filings.
- Prepare audit documentation, management responses, and track closure of audit observations.




- Liaise with senior leadership, project heads, and CXOs on financial matters, compliance updates, and risk mitigation.

ERP & Systems Management:

- Leverage ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally or similar) for financial data management, audit analytics, and process automation
- Drive digitization of finance processes and implement controls within ERP workflows
- Generate MIS reports and dashboards for leadership decision-making.

Required Qualifications:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2 – 4 years of post-qualification experience.
- Prior experience in Manufacturing, Aerospace, Defense, or Capital-Intensive Industries strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with government contracts, R&D; accounting, project-based costing, and capex-heavy business models
- Understanding of manufacturing cost accounting, inventory valuation, work-in progress (WIP) tracking, and bill of materials (BOM) costing.
- Expertise in Statutory Compliance: GST, Income Tax, TDS, PF, ESI, and other corporate regulations.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems: SAP, Oracle EBS, Navision, Tally, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in Indian Accounting Standard
- Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling, reconciliations, and audit analytics
- Experience managing audits across manufacturing, engineering, or FMCG sectors.
