Role Overview The Channel Manager is responsible for identifying, acquiring, and expanding relationships with new channel partners. The role focuses on expanding EC-Councils channel ecosystem across assigned geographies and market segments while driving partner-led revenue growth. This role requires proactive partner prospecting, onboarding, and relationship management while representing EC-Councils full portfolio of offerings and programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively scout and recruit high-performing, strategic partners to expand and diversify the channel ecosystem. Use targeted sourcing and lead-generation strategies to identify top-tier candidates that align with the company's growth objectives.
- Lead the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring recent partners are equipped with the tools, resources, and training they need to succeed. Establish clear expectations and deliverables from the start to foster long-term collaboration.
- Build and maintain productive, professional relationships with key personnel within partner organizations. Act as a trusted advisor, delivering actionable recommendations to maximize the potential of the partnership and drive mutual success.
- Coordinate with internal teams—sales, support, service, and management—to align resources and meet partner performance objectives. Ensure partners have the necessary support to execute
their strategies and achieve sales targets.
- Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales quotas and strategic goals for partner accounts. Monitor progress and performance to ensure growth objectives are on track.
- Facilitate and lead the joint planning process with new partners,
establishing mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and key milestones. Ensure the partnership remains aligned to achieve shared business outcomes.
- Regularly assess, validate, and address partner needs, ensuring the partnership evolves to meet market demands and delivers long-term value for both parties.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, channel sales, or account management within the assigned territory.
- Prior experience in Telecom, Financial Services, Consulting, Training, or Cybersecurity industries is preferred.
- Strong understanding of technology and cybersecurity market trends is an advantage.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to engage effectively with partners and stakeholders.
