Job Overview:

As a E-Commerce Catalog Specialist you will take ownership of migrating and curating thousands of products into a new Shopify-based retail system. This is a high-impact role where you'll be responsible for ensuring every product is properly set up with accurate descriptions, pricing, and imagery.

You'll work directly with the team during a critical launch phase, building the foundation for their integrated e-commerce platform that connects their online store with their physical retail operations.

Schedule: Remote, Full-time | Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm CST.

Responsibilities:

- Migrate several thousand existing products into the Shopify platform
- Source and upload product images for each item in the catalog
- Write and format product descriptions that accurately represent each item
- Ensure accurate pricing information is entered for all products
- Organize products appropriately within the Shopify system structure
- Maintain consistency in product presentation across the entire catalog
- Collaborate with the team to understand specific curation requirements and standards
- Manage ongoing product additions after the initial migration is complete

Requirements:

- Proven experience managing Shopify stores and product catalogs
- Solid attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across large product inventories
- Experience with product data entry,



including descriptions, pricing, and image management
- Ability to work independently and manage large-scale projects
- Excellent organizational skills for handling thousands of product entries
- Comfortable working with integrated retail systems
- Bonus: if you have experience with point-of-sale system integrations
- Bonus: if you have copywriting skills for creating compelling product descriptions
- Nice to have: It helps if you have worked with brick-and-mortar retail businesses transitioning online
- Nice to have: It helps if you have experience with product photography or image optimization
