About the Role

Intima Heart & Superspeciality Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Cardiologist to join our high-performance Cardiology Department. The successful candidate will play a key role in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of cardiovascular diseases while contributing to advanced interventional and preventive cardiac care.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art cardiac center equipped with advanced catheterization laboratory facilities, up-to-date imaging technologies, and exposure to complex cardiac interventions.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and manage patients with cardiovascular diseases, including acute and chronic cardiac conditions.
- Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiac investigations such as ECG, Echocardiography, Stress Tests, and Holter monitoring.
- Evaluate patients for interventional cardiology procedures and provide pre- and post-procedure care.
- Perform or assist with coronary angiography, angioplasty, and other interventional cardiac procedures based on experience.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide patient education on cardiovascular disease prevention, lifestyle modification, and long-term cardiac care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to evidence-based medical practices.
- Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous medical education.

Qualifications Required

- DM/DNB in Cardiology from a recognized institution.
- Valid medical registration with the appropriate medical council.
- Strong clinical, diagnostic, and patient management skills.
- Experience in non-invasive and/or interventional cardiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for patient-centric cardiac care.

Preferred




- Experience in coronary interventions and complex cardiac procedures.
- Familiarity with OCT-guided interventions, Rotablation (Rota), Orbital Atherectomy (OA), and Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
