About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Café Manager to manage the complete day-to-day operations of our new Goa café. The ideal candidate should have solid barista/coffee knowledge along with food and café operations experience.

The café follows a self-service model with a full hot kitchen, so the candidate must be comfortable managing both FOH and coordination with the kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage complete café operations, including FOH, beverage counter and customer experience.
- Lead and supervise the barista, FOH and support team.
- Have hands-on knowledge of coffee preparation, espresso machines and beverage standards.
- Ensure quality and consistency of coffee, beverages and food.
- Coordinate closely with the hot kitchen for smooth order execution.
- Manage daily opening, closing and shift operations.
- Handle POS, billing, cash management and daily sales reports.
- Monitor inventory, stock levels, wastage and ordering.
- Ensure hygiene, cleanliness and food safety standards are maintained.
- Train staff on SOPs, service standards and product knowledge.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints professionally.
- Monitor staff attendance,



grooming and discipline.
- Ensure smooth operations during peak hours and maintain service speed.

Candidate Requirements

- 3–5 years of experience in café, QSR, restaurant or similar food & beverage operations.
- Strong knowledge of barista operations and coffee preparation.
- Good understanding of food products and basic kitchen operations.
- Previous experience managing a team is preferred.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Strong knowledge of POS, billing and basic reporting.
- Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume café.
- Presentable, energetic and hands-on approach.
- Candidates with Goa café/restaurant experience will be preferred.
