Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Café Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a café. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in café, restaurant, hospitality, or F&B; operations, with strong skills in team management, customer service, inventory control, and sales.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the café.
Supervise, train, and manage café staff, including shift scheduling.
Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer queries and complaints.
Monitor sales performance and achieve daily/monthly sales targets.
Drive upselling and suggestive-selling initiatives.
Manage inventory, stock levels, wastage, and cost control.
Coordinate with vendors for procurement, deliveries, and stock requirements.
Handle POS operations, billing, cash management, and daily cash reconciliation.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and SOPs.
Maintain café presentation and service quality standards.
Prepare daily operational and sales reports.
Ensure smooth coordination between staff, vendors, and management.
Candidate Requirements
2–5 years of relevant experience in Café, Restaurant, Hospitality, or F&B; Operations.
Graduate or equivalent qualification preferred.
Strong team-handling and people-management skills.
Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
Hands-on experience with POS, billing, and cash reconciliation.
Knowledge of inventory and cost control.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
Preferred Background
Candidates with experience in reputed café/F&B; brands such as Café Coffee Day, Barista, Starbucks, Costa Coffee, Brewberrys Café, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Gloria Jean’s Coffees, Third Wave Coffee Roasters, The Nivara Coffee, Indian Coffee House, or other established café/F&B; brands will be preferred.
Relevant experience from other café, restaurant, hospitality, or F&B; organizations will also be considered.
