Role Description The Buyer – Connectivity, Electronics and Electrical role is a full time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. The role involves managing procurement activities for connectivity, electronic, and electrical components, including supplier identification, evaluation, and selection in line with quality, cost, and delivery targets.

The Buyer will handle sourcing, request for quotations, price negotiations, contract finalization, and long-term supplier relationship management. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with engineering, production, logistics, and quality teams to ensure timely availability of parts,



supporting localization and cost optimization initiatives, and monitoring supplier performance. The role also requires maintaining accurate purchasing documentation, adhering to compliance and corporate guidelines, and contributing to continuous improvement in the supply chain and procurement processes.

Qualifications

- Strong purchasing and sourcing skills in electronics, electrical, and connectivity components, with experience in supplier evaluation and contract negotiation.
- Knowledge of automotive industry standards, production processes, and supply chain management, especially for electronic and electrical systems.
- Analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities, including cost analysis, benchmarking, and tracking key supplier performance metrics.
- Effective cross-functional collaboration skills for working with engineering, quality, logistics, and finance teams, and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in using ERP systems, procurement tools, and MS Office applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related) or Supply Chain/Business Management; advanced qualifications in procurement or supply chain are an advantage.
- Relevant experience in automotive or manufacturing procurement, preferably in connectivity, electronics, and electrical components.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and uphold ethical, inclusive, and non-discriminatory business practices.
