Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead and drive B2C admissions and business development for our centre.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in EdTech B2C sales, centre-based admissions, lead conversion, student counselling, and revenue generation. The candidate will be responsible for achieving admission and revenue targets, managing the sales funnel, guiding the admissions team, and ensuring a strong student/parent experience throughout the admission journey.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Revenue

- Take ownership of the centre's B2C admission and revenue targets.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets.
- Monitor the complete sales funnel, from lead generation to counselling, follow-up, conversion, and admission.
- Identify opportunities to improve lead-to-admission conversion rates.
- Analyse sales performance and take corrective actions to achieve targets.
- Drive upselling/cross-selling opportunities wherever applicable.
- Prepare and share regular sales and admission reports with the management.

Lead Management & Conversion

- Manage and monitor leads generated through digital marketing, walk-ins, enquiries, referrals, campaigns, and other channels.
- Ensure timely allocation and follow-up of leads by the admissions team.
- Track lead status and ensure that no potential enquiry is left unattended.
- Monitor conversion ratios at different stages of the sales funnel.
- Develop effective follow-up strategies for prospective students and parents.
- Personally handle high-value, priority, or difficult-to-convert leads whenever required.

Student Counselling & Centre-Based Admissions

- Conduct and supervise student/parent counselling regarding programmes, courses, career opportunities, fees, and admission procedures.
- Understand the student's requirements and recommend suitable programmes.




- Ensure a smooth and professional centre visit and admission experience.
- Convert centre walk-ins and enquiries into confirmed admissions.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and prospective customers.
- Address customer concerns and objections effectively to improve conversion.

Team Management

- Lead, motivate, and monitor the performance of the Admissions/Sales team.
- Set daily and monthly targets for team members.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and sales follow-ups.
- Guide the team on lead handling, counselling, objection handling, and closing techniques.
- Monitor individual team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular team meetings and pipeline reviews.
- Support the recruitment and training of admissions team members when required.

Business Development

- Identify new opportunities for increasing student enrolments and centre revenue.
- Plan and execute local B2C marketing and admission campaigns in coordination with the marketing team.
- Explore opportunities through school/college outreach, events, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, referrals, and local partnerships.
- Analyse competitor activities and market trends in the local education market.
- Develop strategies to strengthen the centre's presence and increase enquiries and admissions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Education, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in sales/business development, preferably in EdTech, Education, Training, or Centre-Based Admissions.
- Proven experience in B2C sales and admission conversion.
- Strong knowledge of lead management and sales funnel processes.
- Experience in handling student/parent counselling and objection handling.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office/Google Workspace, and sales reporting tools.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
