Role Description The Business Development Intern will support the growth of Marketing Buddy by identifying potential clients, qualifying leads, and assisting in the development of new business opportunities. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market research, maintaining prospect databases, reaching out to potential clients via calls, emails, and social channels, and supporting the preparation of presentations and proposals. The intern will collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to align client needs with service offerings, help manage follow-ups,



and provide basic customer service support to ensure a positive client experience.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chandigarh, requiring consistent presence in the office and active participation in meetings and brainstorming sessions.

Qualifications

- Strong Analytical Skills and ability to conduct structured Market Research to identify trends, competitors, and potential clients.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication for outreach, presentations, and client interactions.
- Lead Generation and customer outreach capabilities, with an interest in sales pipelines and business development processes.
- Customer Service skills to support client inquiries, maintain relationships, and ensure a professional, friendly experience.
- Interest in digital marketing, branding, and creative services; prior exposure to agencies or startup environments is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Chandigarh, manage time effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, CRM tools) and willingness to learn current platforms.
