Qualification: -

Required: Bachelor’s in civil engineering preferably female candidate Experience: Minimum 3–4 years of proven experience in Business Development for infrastructure projects, with mandatory exposure to tendering, procurement, RFPs, and EOIs under PMC consultancy.

Roles and Responsibilities

Business Development

•

Support the preparation and drafting of RFPs, and EOIs for various infrastructure and donor-funded projects.

•

Develop work methodologies, technical approaches, and specifications for upcoming bids.

Technical Support

•

Provide engineering expertise and technical guidance to project stakeholders, consultants, and team members.

•

Oversee the complete project lifecycle — from planning to implementation and completion.

•

Ensure adherence to project schedules, construction specifications, and safety standards.

•

Review and check contractors’ documents, including ESMP, QA/QC procedures, work programs, and interim payment certificates.

•

Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimation, and technical reviews for infrastructure and construction works.

•

Prepare and review Bill of Quantities (BOQ), quantity take-offs, and cost estimates.

Project Documentation & Reporting

•

Draft and prepare detailed Project report, Design reports and other project specific reports for clients, donors (ADB, World Bank, etc.), and internal management.

•

Maintain project databases, drawings, and documentation as per project requirements.

•

Record, document, and track meeting minutes, correspondence, and technical submissions.

Planning & Compliance

•

Ensure compliance with project and operational policies, procedures, and international standards.

•

Apply knowledge of international and national standards and codes (BS, ASTM, IS, AS, NZS, etc.).

Coordination & Oversight

•

Supervise, guide,



and monitor project teams to ensure adherence to company procedures and quality standards.

•

Liaise with consultants, clients, and contractors to resolve technical and implementation issues.

•

Oversee construction activities, ensuring work methodology aligns with approved specifications.

Skills & Competencies:

•

Proven working experience in Civil Engineering Consultancy (minimum 3–4 years), with business development/ tendering/ proposal development experience mandatory.

•

Prior experience of report preparation and documentation.

•

Excellent knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and STAAD Pro.

•

Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and scheduling tools such as MS Project and Primavera (advantage).

•

Strong understanding of infrastructure and donor-funded projects (ADB/World Bank experience preferred).

•

Solid analytical, planning, and project management abilities.
