Role Description

Every book begins with a thought.

A thought that first lives in an author’s mind—then travels through conversations, manuscripts, design, production, marketing and distribution before finally reaching a reader.

But what makes one book stand out?

How does it find space in bookstores, universities and homes?

How is an author transformed into a recognised voice?

And how can a powerful story travel beyond the printed page—perhaps even to the screen?

At Konark Publishers, we are looking for a curious and ambitious individual who wants to discover this world from the inside.





As a Business Development Executive – Sales & Marketing, you will learn how ideas are turned into books, books into brands, and relationships into opportunities. You will engage with authors, booksellers, distributors, institutions and readers while helping meaningful stories travel farther.

This opportunity is for someone who wants to build a career at the intersection of creativity, culture and commerce.

We welcome

- Fresh MBA graduates with energy, ideas and a desire to learn
- Professionals from retail, sales, marketing or business development
- Candidates with 2–3 years of trade publishing experience

You do not need to arrive knowing everything about publishing. But you should bring curiosity, initiative, confidence and a genuine desire to build something meaningful.
