About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Business Development Executive with 1+ year of experience in business development, lead generation, and client acquisition. The ideal candidate should have strong communication, negotiation, and deal-closing skills, with hands-on experience using Upwork, Guru, PeoplePerHour (PPH), and other freelancing/B2B platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and generate new business opportunities through online platforms, social media, email, and other channels.
- Manage and respond to leads and client inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Must have hands-on experience working on Upwork, Guru, PPH, and similar platforms.
- Prepare and submit effective proposals, bids, and quotations based on client requirements.
- Conduct client communication, requirement gathering, follow-ups, negotiations, and deal closures.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
- Manage the sales pipeline and ensure consistent follow-up with prospective clients.




- Coordinate with internal teams to understand project requirements and prepare suitable solutions/proposals.
- Meet monthly and quarterly business development and revenue targets.
- Track leads, proposals, conversions, and client interactions and maintain regular reports.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

Required Skills

- 1+ year of experience in Business Development, Sales, or related roles.
- Strong experience with Upwork, Guru, PPH, and other B2B/freelancing platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Robust negotiation and client-handling abilities.
- Good understanding of lead generation, sales processes, and business development.
- Ability to convert leads into successful business opportunities.
- Target-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated approach.
- Strong follow-up and relationship-management skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace and CRM tools.
