Role Description The Business Development Associate will support the growth of SMA Institute’s finance programs by identifying prospective learners, nurturing leads, and building long-term relationships with students and partners. Day-to-day responsibilities include generating and qualifying leads, conducting outreach via calls, emails, and meetings, and presenting program offerings to potential candidates and institutional partners.

The role also involves maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, coordinating with academic and marketing teams on campaigns, and assisting with events, webinars, and information sessions.



This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata, requiring regular collaboration with internal teams and direct interaction with prospective students to drive enrollment and brand visibility.

Qualifications

- Business development and sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and relationship building.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present programs clearly and handle inquiries professionally.
- Basic marketing and outreach abilities, such as coordinating campaigns, supporting events, and using digital channels for promotion.
- Organizational and administrative skills, including CRM usage, data tracking, and reporting on business development activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Interest in education and finance training, with the ability to understand and explain CMA US and other program offerings.
- Comfort working in an on-site, team-oriented setting in Kolkata, with a proactive and goal-driven work style.
- Prior experience in education, training, or EdTech business development is an advantage but not mandatory.
