Role Description The Business Development Associate - 1.1 is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. In this position, the associate identifies and nurtures potential partners and clients, drives lead generation activities, and supports revenue growth initiatives.

Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market research, preparing and delivering presentations to prospective partners, and maintaining accurate records of outreach and follow-up activities. The role involves collaborating with internal teams to refine offerings, communicating value propositions clearly,



and participating in meetings and events to strengthen Cogniza’s presence in the education and training ecosystem.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Presentation Skills and experience creating and delivering effective Presentations.
- Candidates should possess Lead Generation skills, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and managing basic sales pipelines.
- Candidates should possess Market Research skills to analyze trends, competition, and customer needs.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, for engaging stakeholders and preparing skilled correspondence.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field are beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively in a team, and comfort engaging with external partners are advantageous.
- Basic understanding of the education, training, or edtech sector and proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, CRM tools) are preferred.
