Role Purpose The Senior Manager Vendor Governance & Third-Party Risk Management will lead the Bank's vendor governance and TPRM function, ensuring effective oversight of critical and high-risk third parties throughout their lifecycle. The role is responsible for driving vendor risk assessments, audits, governance reporting, regulatory compliance, audit observation closure, vendor performance monitoring, offboarding, and continuous improvement of the Bank's third-party risk management framework.
The role requires strong leadership capabilities, hands-on experience in regulatory and audit engagements, and the ability to coordinate effectively with business, technology, information security, risk, compliance, internal audit, and external vendors .
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Information Technology, Law, or a related discipline.
- Approximately 6+ years of relevant experience in Third-Party Risk Management, Vendor Governance, Operational Risk, Internal Controls, Audit, Compliance, or Financial Services.
- Experience in banking, payments, fintech, NBFC, or another highly regulated financial-services setting preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing critical and high-risk vendors and leading cross-functional governance activities.
- Experience with RBI regulatory requirements relating to outsourcing, IT/technology services, payment systems,
CBC/BC arrangements, and vendor governance is preferred.
- Professional certifications in Risk Management, Information Security, Audit, Business Continuity, or related areas would be an advantage.
