Role Description This full time, on-site Branch Manager / Assistant Branch Manager role is based in the Greater Kolkata Area. The role involves overseeing branch operations, managing sales performance, and ensuring consistent achievement of business targets in health insurance products. The individual will lead and mentor the branch team, drive customer acquisition and retention, and maintain high standards of customer service and compliance.

Responsibilities include coordinating with corporate and regional offices, monitoring key performance indicators,



and implementing initiatives to improve productivity and profitability. The role also requires regular reporting, market analysis, and active participation in local marketing and business development activities.

Qualifications

- Strong leadership, team management, and people development skills to guide branch staff and foster a high-performance culture.
- Proven experience in sales, business development, and target achievement, preferably in insurance or financial services.
- Customer service and relationship management capabilities to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
- Operational and administrative skills, including attention to detail, process adherence, and compliance with regulatory and company policies.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret branch performance data, identify opportunities, and address business challenges effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and engage confidently with customers.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or relevant certifications in insurance are an advantage.
- Prior experience in branch management or assistant branch management in the insurance or banking sector is highly desirable.
- Comfort working in an on-site environment in the Greater Kolkata Area and flexibility to participate in local business development activities.
