Role Description This is a full time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad for a Book Keeping and Payroll – Australia professional. The role involves maintaining accurate bookkeeping records for Australian clients, including posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.

The team member will process and manage payroll for Australian entities, including timesheet validation,



wage and entitlement calculations, superannuation contributions, and statutory reporting. Daily activities include working with accounting software, reviewing financial data for accuracy, coordinating with client teams on queries, and supporting month-end and year-end closing procedures. The role also requires adherence to internal controls, timely completion of deliverables, and collaboration with colleagues to improve processes and client service quality.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in bookkeeping, journal entries (accounting), and preparation of financial statements.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of accounting software and practical understanding of finance concepts.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Experience working with Australian accounting and payroll regulations, including exposure to superannuation and local tax requirements, is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools, with comfort working in technology-enabled, cloud-based environments.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate within a diverse, professional team.
- Prior experience in an outsourcing, shared services, or public accounting environment is a plus.
