Bid Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Bid Manager to manage the complete bid and proposal lifecycle for IT services. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing RFPs/RFIs, coordinating with internal teams, preparing proposals, and ensuring timely and compliant submissions.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the end-to-end bid management process from opportunity identification to final submission.
- Analyze RFP, RFI, RFQ and tender documents to understand requirements, scope, timelines, and compliance criteria.
- Coordinate with Sales, Presales, Solution Architects, Delivery, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and manage technical and commercial proposals.
- Develop proposal responses, executive summaries, presentations, compliance matrices, and supporting documents.
- Create and maintain bid plans, timelines, trackers, and submission schedules.
- Ensure all proposals are accurate, complete, compliant, and submitted within deadlines.
- Coordinate with SMEs to collect technical and business inputs.
- Review and consolidate inputs from different teams into a clear and compelling proposal.
- Maintain a repository of case studies, company credentials, client references, solution content, and reusable proposal materials.
- Identify risks, gaps, dependencies, and clarification requirements during the bid process.




- Support commercial/pricing activities in coordination with Sales and Finance teams.
- Participate in bid reviews, client presentations, clarification meetings, and negotiations.
- Prepare regular bid pipeline and status reports for management.
- Support post-bid activities and ensure proper handover to the delivery team after winning bids.

Required Skills

- 4–5 years of experience in Bid Management, Proposal Management, Presales, or RFP Management.
- Experience in IT/Software Services or Technology industry.
- Solid understanding of RFP/RFI/RFQ and tender processes.
- Excellent proposal writing and documentation skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent stakeholder and cross-functional team coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
- Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Good to Have

- Experience handling Government / PSU / Enterprise / International bids.
- Knowledge of IT solutions, cloud, software development, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or managed services.
- Experience with commercial proposals and pricing.
- Knowledge of proposal management tools or CRM systems.
