Position: Bar Manager

Reports To: F&B; Manager / General Manager

Location: Coimbatore-Gandhipuram.

Job Purpose To manage the overall bar operations, ensuring excellent guest service, beverage quality, hygiene, cost control, and compliance with hotel standards and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily bar operations and ensure smooth service.
- Lead, train, and supervise bartenders and bar service staff.
- Prepare and maintain beverage menus, recipes, and standards.
- Ensure proper stock control, inventory, and timely beverage requisitions.
- Monitor beverage costs, wastage, and consumption.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and grooming.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and serving of beverages.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and handle complaints professionally.
- Ensure all billing and cash-handling procedures are followed correctly.
- Coordinate with Kitchen, F&B; Service, Stores, and Purchase departments.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, licensing requirements, and safety standards.
- Conduct regular stock verification and maintain required bar records.
- Plan promotions,



special events, and beverage activities to increase revenue.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operational reports as required.

Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in bar operations, preferably in a 4/5-star hotel or reputed restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, mocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and other beverages.
- Valuable leadership, communication, and guest-handling skills.
- Knowledge of beverage costing, inventory, and bar controls.
- Ability to train and motivate the bar team.
- Knowledge of applicable liquor licensing and safety procedures.
- Good English communication skills.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
