Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Backend & DevOps Engineer who thrives in building scalable fintech systems and enjoys owning services from development through production operations.

This role combines deep backend engineering expertise with hands-on DevOps and fintech operations experience. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining mission-critical financial systems, payment workflows, banking integrations, transaction processing services, and cloud-native infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Node.js, Docker, MongoDB, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture, along with a practical understanding of how financial operations work in real-world environments.

Key Responsibilities





- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Node.js.
- Build high-availability APIs handling financial transactions, account management, onboarding,

reconciliation, and reporting.

- Develop secure integrations with banking partners, payment gateways, fintech infrastructure providers, and third-party financial systems.
- Architect event-driven systems and distributed services capable of handling large transaction volumes.
- Design efficient database schemas and optimize MongoDB performance.
- Build and manage containerized applications using Docker.
- Deploy, scale, and maintain services on Kubernetes clusters.
- Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
- Support customer onboarding workflows, KYC/KYB processes, transaction monitoring,

reconciliation, and settlements.

Required Skills & Experience

- 4 years of backend engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Deep expertise in microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Robust MongoDB production experience.
- Hands-on Docker and Kubernetes experience.
- Experience with REST APIs, event-driven services, and messaging systems.
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with fintech platforms, banking APIs, payment systems, onboarding, compliance, and reconciliation workflows.

Nice to Have

- Experience with UPI, NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, payment gateways, or cross-border payments.
