Role Description The AV CAD Design role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The AV CAD Designer will create and revise detailed AV drawings, including rack layouts, signal flow diagrams, floor plans, and schematics, in alignment with client standards and project requirements.

Responsibilities include interpreting project briefs, applying CAD standards, coordinating with project managers and engineers, and ensuring accuracy and consistency across all drawing sets. The role involves maintaining organized project files, updating documentation throughout the design lifecycle,



and supporting QA checks to ensure drawings are submittal-ready. The AV CAD Designer will also collaborate with team members to optimize drafting workflows and support multi-disciplinary documentation such as lighting and security systems when needed.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and Drawing skills applicable to AV and low-voltage systems.
- Knowledge of CAD Standards and Technical Drawing practices, including layer management, annotation, and industry-compliant documentation.
- Experience or familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows for coordinating AV designs within broader building projects.
- Hands-on experience with software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Visio, and related drafting tools used in AV, electrical, or security design.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering documents, floor plans, and system schematics with high attention to detail.
- Diploma or degree in engineering, architecture, industrial design, or a related technical field; relevant certifications in CAD/BIM are an advantage.
- Effective communication skills, cooperative mindset, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in an on-site team environment.
- Prior experience in audio-visual, MEP, electrical, or security system drafting is preferred but not mandatory.
