Job Title: AOSP Automotive HMI Engineer

Location: Washi Haveli, Pune, Maharashtra (On-site)

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Android HMI Developer to join our automotive engineering team. You will be responsible for developing and customizing Android AOSP-based HMI applications for Automotive IVI systems, working across system, vendor, and priv-app layers with a solid focus on stability, performance, and clean architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and customize Android AOSP HMI applications for Automotive IVI
- Implement features such as Media, Radio, Bluetooth, Phone, Navigation, and Settings
- Integrate HMI with Android Framework, Middleware, and Vehicle HAL (VHAL)
- Develop features using Android Automotive APIs and Car Service
- Build crash-free applications using MVP/MVVM architecture, LiveData, Observer, and Shared Preferences
- Debug and resolve application and framework-level issues
- Support system integration,



debugging, and optimization
- Collaborate closely with UX, BSP, Middleware, and System teams

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Strong hands-on experience in Java/Kotlin and Android application development
- Hands-on experience with Android AOSP/AAOS
- Solid understanding of Android Framework Architecture, AIDL/Binder IPC, and Car APIs
- Proficiency with Android Studio, ADB, Logcat, Git, and Linux
- Experience with Automotive IVI platforms, Android 12
- Exposure to Android Automotive Emulator
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Education B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related field

- CTC hike capped at 15–20% over current CTC
