Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using Playwright.

- Create and maintain scalable UI and end-to-end automation frameworks.

- Develop test scenarios, test cases, and automation scripts based on functional and business requirements.

- Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing.

- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines.

- Use GitHub for source code management, branching, pull requests, code reviews, and collaboration.

- Leverage GitHub Copilot to improve test automation development, code quality, and productivity.

- Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and work closely with developers to resolve defects.

- Maintain test data, test environments, reusable utilities, and automation libraries.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and QA teams to ensure high-quality software releases.

- Prepare automation reports and communicate test results, defects, risks, and quality metrics.

- Continuously improve automation coverage, framework performance, and testing processes.

Required Technical Skills

- 5+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA Automation.

- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.





- Valuable knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript or another language supported by the automation framework.

- Strong understanding of Web UI and End-to-End Automation Testing.

- Hands-on experience with Git and GitHub.

- Experience with GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted test automation/code development.

- Good understanding of API testing and integration testing.

- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.

- Knowledge of test automation framework design, Page Object Model, reusable components, and best practices.

- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and defect life cycle.

- Experience working with defect tracking and test management tools.

- Good knowledge of debugging, log analysis, and root-cause analysis.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with Playwright Test Runner and parallel/cross-browser execution.

- Knowledge of Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD platforms.

- Experience with Docker and cloud-based testing environments.

- Knowledge of API automation using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or Playwright API testing.

- Exposure to performance and security testing is an added advantage.

- Experience using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot for test case generation, automation scripting, debugging, and code optimization.
