We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with 4+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Analyze business and technical requirements to identify appropriate test scenarios and automation opportunities.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize robust automation suites for web-based applications using Selenium WebDriver.
- Design reusable automation components and maintain scalable test frameworks using Java or Python.
- Perform various levels of testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end validation.
- Develop and execute automated test suites across different application modules and environments.
- Validate REST APIs and web services using tools such as Postman and REST Assured.
- Perform data verification and backend validation using SQL queries.
- Investigate test failures, analyze root causes, and work with development teams to resolve application issues.
- Document defects with explicit reproduction steps, logs,



screenshots, and relevant test evidence in Jira.
- Configure and execute automated test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Maintain source code, automation scripts, and framework changes using Git and appropriate branching strategies.
- Participate in sprint activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Review test results and identify gaps in test coverage, stability, and automation effectiveness.
- Contribute to improving test frameworks, coding standards, reusable utilities, and overall QA processes.
- Support release validation and provide feedback on application quality and potential production risks.
- Prepare automation execution results, defect metrics, and testing status reports for project stakeholders.
