Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Automation Architect with 12+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Engineering, with strong expertise in designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks. The candidate will be responsible for defining the overall automation strategy, architecture, tools, standards, and best practices across applications and projects.

The ideal candidate should have robust hands-on experience with Selenium and Java, API automation, CI/CD integration, and the ability to guide QA teams in building robust and maintainable automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, and implement scalable and reusable automation frameworks for web and enterprise applications.

•Define automation architecture, strategy, standards, coding guidelines, and best practices.

•Lead the automation roadmap and identify opportunities to improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and overall product quality.

•Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java.

•Design and implement API automation frameworks and automated test suites.

•Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and faster release cycles.

•Work closely with development, QA, DevOps, business, and product teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC.

•Review existing automation frameworks and identify areas for optimization, scalability, and performance improvement.

•Establish reusable components, utilities, libraries, and automation accelerators.

•Provide technical guidance and mentorship to automation engineers and QA teams.





•Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the overall QA/QE transformation and automation strategy.

•Ensure automation solutions follow best practices around maintainability, reliability, reporting, logging, and defect identification.

•Support troubleshooting and resolution of complex automation and framework-related issues.

•Stay updated with emerging automation tools, frameworks, and industry best practices.

Mandatory Technical Skills

•12+ years of overall experience in Software Testing / Quality Engineering.

•Solid experience in Automation Architecture and Framework Design.

•Strong hands-on expertise in Selenium WebDriver.

•Strong programming experience in Java.

•Good experience in API Automation / API Testing.

•Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing.

•Experience designing reusable, scalable, and maintainable automation frameworks.

•Strong understanding of QA processes, test strategy, and automation best practices.

•Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

•Ability to provide technical leadership and mentor automation/testing teams.

Additional Requirement

•Candidate must be open to international travel based on project/business requirements.

•Should have strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

•Should be comfortable working with geographically distributed teams.

•Candidates with experience in large-scale enterprise automation transformation or QA modernization initiatives will be preferred.

Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate would be a hands-on Automation Architect / QA Automation Architect / Test Automation Architect who can combine strong technical expertise with architectural thinking and leadership. The candidate should be capable of independently defining an automation strategy, designing frameworks, integrating automation into CI/CD, and guiding engineering teams toward a mature automation practice.
