Position: AutoCAD Draftsman / Civil Draftsman

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman to work at our project site and support the engineering and construction team in preparing, updating, and maintaining accurate drawings for ongoing construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for civil, architectural and structural works.
- Prepare working drawings, detailed drawings and construction drawings as per site requirements.
- Prepare plans, elevations, sections, layouts, details and site sketches.
- Modify drawings based on instructions from the Architect, Engineer and Project Manager.
- Take site measurements and incorporate actual site conditions into drawings.
- Prepare as-built drawings based on completed construction work.
- Coordinate drawings with site engineers, contractors and consultants.
- Maintain proper drawing records, revisions and drawing registers.
- Ensure drawings are prepared as per approved designs, specifications and project requirements.
- Assist in preparing drawings required for BOQ, estimation and quantity verification.
- Visit construction areas regularly to verify dimensions and existing site conditions.
- Identify discrepancies between approved drawings and actual site execution and report them to the concerned engineer.
- Print, issue and distribute approved drawings to the site team as required.




- Maintain confidentiality and proper control of project drawings and documents.

Required Skills
- Valuable knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
- Knowledge of civil/architectural drawings and construction detailing.
- Ability to read and understand architectural, structural and engineering drawings.
- Good understanding of dimensions, levels, sections and site measurements.
- Knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel and MS Word, will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of SketchUp/Revit/other drafting software will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently at a construction site and coordinate with the project team.

Qualification ITI/Diploma in Civil Engineering / Architectural Assistantship / equivalent qualification preferred.

Main Deliverables The selected candidate will primarily be responsible for: Site Measurement → AutoCAD Drafting → Drawing Revision → Working Drawings → As-Built Drawings → Drawing Record & Coordination

Preference: Candidates with prior experience in building construction, government projects, architectural works or construction supervision consultancy will be preferred.

Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
